The E&S Computer Science program seeks to develop computer literate students by encouraging and supporting computer use across the curriculum. All students develop skills in computer applications, and programming. Elective courses are offered in web design, programming in java, and desktop publishing using inDesign software. E&S provides a computer and technology rich environment designed to prepare students for the challenges of higher education and the 21st century work place.
Kai Tinsely, Josiah Muledi and Cheyenne McNair were awarded 1st Place in the Programming category at the Phila. Regional Computer Fair. Their application Grade Atlas helps students organize grades, assignments and it calculates real time GPA statistics.
They will represent the District in
State Computer Fair on May 20th in Carlisle, PA.
